Many Feathers has been working hard to bring a new shiny event to Mississauga! We're proud to present in partnership with Friends of the Museums of Mississauga a reoccurring Night Market every Friday from July 7th to August 25th (8 weeks), from 5pm to dusk.
The event is family-oriented and aimed at bringing the community together in a historically agricultural setting. The Night Market will host food trucks and vendors selling dinner to patrons on Friday evenings in the summer, alongside crafters, artisans, and farmers selling their take-home goods. Local artists (buskers, spoken word artists, and cultural groups) will provide entertainment throughout the evening arranged by Many Feathers followed by headlining entertainment beginning at 7pm provided by the Benares Historic House’s current music program “On the Verandah".
The Night Market will host a "beer garden" with local breweries, wineries, and cideries for guests to enjoy on-site. And lastly, sponsors and community groups will develop children's/family activities that will take place throughout the evening.
The Night Market is the first of its' kind in Mississauga, and is in its first year aligning with the celebration of Canada's 150th birthday. Located a short walk from Clarkson Go Station, the site provides transit options, as well as kind neighbours offering overflow parking during event hours.
