Community Garden: Sponsorship and Safeguards

While watering the community garden we noticed that bunnies had gotten to a few of our onion plants. We didn't install a fence initially, but planned for it, and went into red alert. To protect the rest of the crops we received a generous donation from Canadian Tire Meadowvale to solve our bunny bandit problem.

Community partnerships with local and national businesses are really important to Many Feathers because they allow us to expand our projects and develop more programming to support the community. They are a great way for businesses to support the community they serve, find out more about our sponsorship opportunities here!

Now that all the setting up work is done volunteers are able to pick when they want to drop in and do maintenance with a member of our garden team. Email volunteers@manyfeathers.ca if you wish to participate!
